What is a Naíonra?

A Naíonra is when a group of 3-5 year olds come together with an early childhood educator to provide a preschool education through the medium of Irish.

Does my child need to have Irish to register in the Naíonra?

Your child does not need to have Irish to attend the Naíonra. We support each child individually at their own level.

How many sessions do you have each day?

Naíonra Naithí runs two sessions every day. The first session runs from 8.20am - 11.20am and the second from 11.30am-2.30pm. We offer a ratio of 5:1, or 5 children to each adult in both sessions.

Does Naíonra Naithí have fees?

Naíonra Naithí is a participant in the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) scheme that funds free Early Years Education for children in our care. Naíonra Naithí does not charge any fees.

What age can my child start in the Naíonra?

Naíonra Naithí accepts children who are over three years of age.
